MEET DR. KALANTAR

"Dr. Kalantar, known by her patients as Dr. Neda, received her B.S. from the University of Virginia in 1997 and her D.D.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2001. Dr. Neda completed her pediatric dentistry specialty at Howard University School of Dentistry and her cosmetic dentistry residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, located in Richmond, Virginia. She has received numerous awards for leadership, community services and high academic achievement.

Dr. Neda has a strong passion for children with special needs and has participated in a number of international and local dental missions, which include 7 dental missions with Operation Smile to Nicaragua, Vietnam and Gaza. She stays involved in her community by visiting schools, speaking at "Mom" groups, and hosting school visits to her office. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association and American Dental Association. She enjoys travel, yoga and spending time with her husband and two boys. Dr. Neda was born in Chicago and grew up in Virginia Beach, Va."
