With three age-specific waiting areas, every child, from toddler to teen, feels comfortable and at home. At Pediatric Dentistry of Reston, our warm, welcoming atmosphere is just one of the many things that make our office truly unique.
Founded in 2006 by Dr. Neda Kalantar, a passionate advocate for children’s oral health, our practice is built on the belief that every child deserves a positive, empowering dental experience.
In 2017, Dr. Sana Zaidi joined the practice, followed by Dr. Joyce Fernandes in 2023. Together, our board certified pediatric dentists bring a team-centered approach and a wide range of advanced skills, including expertise in treating children with special needs, pediatric cosmetic and laser dentistry, dental trauma, and sedation dentistry.

Dr Neda Kalantar
Dr. Neda Kalantar, founder of Pediatric Dentistry of Reston, a safari-themed practice in the DC Metro area designed to make every child feel welcome, safe, and excited about visiting the dentist. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Kalantar and her team are passionate about helping children build confidence in their smiles and making dental visits fun and stress-free.
Inspired by her early work with Operation Smile while at the University of Virginia and in Dental School, she has continued to advocate for access to care, volunteering on international missions in countries including Vietnam, Peru, Jordan, Malawi, and Rwanda and organizing local programs. Pediatric Dentistry of Reston reflects that same heart for service which is bringing excellent care, education, and joyful experiences to every child that comes through the door.
