Your First Visit

Welcome to our unique dental home! From the moment your children walk through the door, they will be greeted warmly and invited into one of three age-appropriate waiting areas, uniquely created for them. We have toys and books that will keep children of all ages entertained. We think that the youngest children will enjoy our safari theme the most! In our practice, children always come first.

You may find our lingo somewhat strange, but from experience, we know that certain practices work really well with children. When we talk about dental care, we avoid using words like “anesthesia, X-rays or cavities.” You are more likely to hear us say “sleepy spray, taking pictures or tooth bugs.” We strive to make each visit at our office fun and relaxing. We want your children to enjoy going to the dentist.

According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), a child should visit the dentist by his or her first birthday. A child should also be informed as a patient. We strive to explain all procedures to our young patients and answer any questions in a way that is non-threatening and understandable.
