Have you met Dr. Sana yet? We are so excited to celebrate her two-years mark since joining Dr. Neda Kalantar at Pediatric Dentistry of Reston. Thank you to all for welcoming her to our office and it has been a wonderful two years for our practice & team. She has enjoyed getting to know many of our long term families and new families that have joined our office.
Dr. Sana believes every child should enjoy going to the dentist and is passionate about making the dentist experience fun.
“Growing up, I always enjoyed going to the dentist. I always associated pleasant memories with the dentist and wanted to be able to provide that for other children. Pediatric dentistry is not just about dentistry, it about forming everlasting relationships not only with the child but with the entire family.”
Dr. Sana was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Northern Virginia soon after she was married. She is a busy mom with her son keeping her on her toes. “My favorite thing about being a mom is the endless hugs and kisses. Sharing a strong bond with my son is what I cherish most about becoming a mom and seeing him grow before my eyes.”
Dr. Sana is a board-certified pediatric dentist and did her residency training at Metrohealth Hospital in Cleveland. She has advanced training in the dental care of special needs patients and really enjoys serving these children.
She is a big Cleveland Cavaliers fan, so you can catch her cheering them on during basketball season. She also enjoys cooking and watching America’s favorite past-time, baseball and spending time with her growing family.
If you don’t see her during her at lunch break, she is probably grabbing a Starbucks coffee and making a quick Target run which ends up in lots of shopping!
Fun facts: Dr. Sana wanted to become an FBI agent in High School. She sprained her ankle trying to get OUT of a hot air balloon basket, and she can rewatch her favorite movies over and over again.
